Set back

So I had a little set back yesterday in this whole no drinking thing. Basically I have had the worst week this week, and to top it all off my tutor tells me yesterday that I needed to re start my dissertation.
I am 4,100 words in. Annoying.

SO I went out, got drunk and woke up this morning feel rough but better at the same time. Im taking a break from uni work today and having Faturday. Basically being lazy, might go to the gym for a bit then back to the sofa for a night of tv and films.

Have a good weekend, and here is to a new start tomorrow!

Positive outlook

So over the past few months it has been a bit crazy, starting back in June I broke up with my boyfriend, lost 32lbs (19 more to go) moved house and started my final year at uni! 


Sometimes I let things get to me a bit too much, wether it is uni work, my weight, friends, or just life in general. 


I sat last night and pictured how my life is right now, and how I want it to be and I decided changes needed to be made.


Currently I am detoxing and not drinking, I have decided to make this an almost permanent decision in my life. Through personal events in my life I made the decision never to touch drugs in my life, and now I have decided that if I want things to go my way drinking should not be a part of this either. 
3 weeks ago me and my house mate had an epiphany and have both decided to stop drinking together. We are making a pact that it is strictly tipsy fun, no nightclubs and being home by 12! Sound boring to you? Maybe but I'm not asking you to quit drinking!


I have also decided to cut the negative be it "friends" or food, and focus on me and the good things in my life. I am 22, graduate in 5 months time and I feel like I need to take control of what is happening and going to happen.


I feel good about this and it is the right thing to do, obviously! 
I am not the sort of person who can see where things go, I like to be in control and make things happen.


I feel good about starting this now rather than in January. I am more likely to stick to it if it is not a new years resolution and more of a life decision. 


I am excited to start a fresh, new start!

Panic at the disco have finally released a new song from their third album, called the Ballad of Mona Lisa and I LOVE it!

They have kicked it old school and this song defiantly has more of a feel of their new album which is one of my all time favorite albums to listen to, I love the theatrical feel of it.
I highly suggest you listen, love and enjoy this song and get excited for their new album and their new tour!

So this is love...

Cracking nail varnish gromit...

Today has been a day of fulfillment.
I bought this nails effect nail varnish from Barry M today and it is amazing. Basically if you haven't heard of it, it is a nail varnish that you paint on top of another colour, i recommed a light colour e.g. red or green, and it starts to crack, the end results almost creating a leopard print effect.
I am obsessed with nail art so this is a complete dream to me, so much so that I actually can stop staring at my nails, they have gone from boring red, to an interesting work of art haha!!

I have a band that I have been recommended to listen to, and I feel they have filled that empty void of new music I have been missing.

They are called The Black Keys, they have an american blue rock feel to them think Kings of Leon old school, I am seriously in love and downloading as we speak.

So today, after completing all of my chores and had been to the gym, I settled down to read my Elle magazine. Halfway though I noticed the most attractive advert of skulls, guitars and peace signs all in the shape of a heart, I have a slight obsession with skulls and anything a bit punk so this advert was like a dream.
So I decided to google who this advert was for, turns out it is for jewelry designer Thomas Sabo, and I think I may have just fallen in love.

His stuff is amazing, and right up my street. I have just found one of his rings for £32 and I am pretty tempted to buy it... maybe I will just have to go for it? I have lusted after a skull ring for a long time, my dreams could be made!!

So I have just completed my first internship at NEXT press office. I loved it, even though I was getting up at 6am every morning and it cost £15 a day it was still completely worth it!
I got to work in the showroom, with all of the summer samples, help out with the loans and returns for magazines and T.V programs and with any enquires people may have about our collection.
Only thing is when I was there I mentally spent about £200, the plus side, it was mental spending not physical spending, the downside? I cant stop thinking about all of their beautiful clothes!
But then I remembered thanks to a recent successful stint on ebay I am actually quids in soooooo guess what I am going shopping  BOOM!

Oh yes I am going to see Katy Perry thanks to my lovely parents for getting me tickets!
I am beyond excited to see her and what kind of show she puts on
OMG!

I had the craziest dream last night about a girl who has turned into a swan, but her prince falls for the wrong girl and she kills herself...

So last night I watched Black Swan, after seeing the advert about a million times and seeing interviews everywhere I felt it was a sign.
I honestly think it is one of the best films I have seen in a while. It is intense, seductive, weird, engaging and I honestly did not want it to end.
Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis are among some of my favourite actresses and they certainty didn't disappoint with their acting and dancing skills, the dedication both of them had to the roles came across in the film and without a doubt I would go and see this film tomorrow if I could...
Oh and their ballet teacher had this strange hotness going on, must be the accent ha!

I suggest you go and see this film asap...
